Free Timeline Template for Mac iWork Pages or Microsoft Office Word

I’ve searched quite a bit and asked around to find a free timeline template for iWork (my Mac) or Word/Excel and can’t find much of anything!

So, I’ve created one of my own, nothing too fancy or perfect by any means, but a great starting point for anyone that wants to use a visual, big picture format for planning out events, projects or milestones in their own family or business. Please feel free to download and use this for yourself.

Store & Share Family Addresses & Events Online

Around the holidays, I always send out emails to family members and friends alike in a frantic attempt to mail holiday cards. Why do I keep repeating this process? Because people move, or I get forgetful and don’t update the many places that I store addresses.

I was thinking about starting a Google Doc to share a long list of family contact information, but before I did, I did a quick search to see if there were any useful online tools that already solve this issue for me.

Practical Gifting for Friends & Family

Not long ago, I admit that I wanted lots of “things” for birthday and holiday gifts. It is really nice to get something that you wouldn’t ordinarily buy yourself for the holidays such as lotions, electronics, books, etc.

Lately I’m a big fan of practical gifts. When you are on a tight budget, things that may once have seemed normal to spend money on such as socks, nice shampoo, getting your hair done, going to the car wash, etc, are all pushed out and minimized. What once seemed like a norm to purchase has become a luxury.

Orggit provides a secure platform for storing your personally sensitive information such as passwords, wallet information, health information and also a ‘filing cabinet’ which can be organized by folders for documents that you keep in your ‘off-line’ filing cabinet such as tax information, legal paperwork, etc.
